Payment methods will never be kept by Support A Cause. How We Use Your Information In general, we use Personal Information to provide the Support A Cause Service to you, including, to establish and administer your account, to fulfill your order and send you an order confirmation and to respond to customer service requests. If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, accessing the email preferences in your account settings page, or you can contact us at Hope@SupportACause.Shop . You may not opt-out of the transaction emails Support a Cause sends in connection with your use of the Support A Cause Services (e.g., email notification of individual account activity, such as shipment of order). We use Performance Information to analyze and better understand the characteristics of successful offerings and campaigns and to improve the performance of Support a Cause. Support A Cause does not collect Personal Information about your online activities over time, across different websites. Accordingly, Support A Cause does not currently respond to “do not track” browser request.
SHOPIFY Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only if is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Member Account, Password and Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, if any, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account.
